EXPERIENCE

BACKEND AI/ML INTERN

ODEX GLOBAL, DUBAI

AUGUST 2025 – JANUARY 2026

  • Built a production-grade AI document intelligence pipeline using OpenCV, Tesseract OCR and Groq LLMs to convert multi-page shipping PDFs into schema-validated JSON with up to 97% field-level accuracy. Designed modular Python and FastAPI services for bounding-box detection and context-aware extraction, significantly reducing manual validation time and accelerating operational turnaround for the company.
  • Fine-tuned Meta-Llama-3-8B and gpt-oss-20b on optimised domain datasets and implemented Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) with intelligent chunking and vector storage to improve contextual accuracy and extraction reliability. Strengthened the company’s AI capability by improving consistency across diverse document formats and enabling scalable deployment in live workflows.
